If you’re hitting the slopes this winter season — or planning the perfect ski outfit for when you do — The Ski Project is the place to get kitted out. The retailer was dreamt up by avid skier Sandy Ip in Niseko during 2017 after she spotted a gap in the ski apparel arena. ‘There were a lot of technical brands in the market, but their products didn’t reflect the lifestyles of modern travellers who enjoy adventures in the cold but also in the city,’ Sandy tells The Style Sheet.
As for what’s new to The Ski Project Pacific Place this winter, Sandy is excited to introduce Sease, a brand created by the younger generation of the Loro Piana family, which brings transitional modern wear from the mountain to the city. Another fresh label to look out for is Frauenschuh, which celebrates innovative-yet-traditional eco-conscious designs that look as stylish on the streets as the slopes.
