The recently opened sandwicherie showcases Chef Bao La’s authentic Banh Mi Thit, the iconic and ubiquitous street food that blends East and West and recalls 160 years of history in a harmony of tastes and textures. The sandwiches, colonial-born and spread by refugees post-Vietnam War, are created using five different house-made cuts of pork, aromatic Vietnamese chillies, herbs, housemade pickles.
